It's the whisper of nature, the wonder at sunrise, and a prayer of quiet in this land. Time well spent with family, friends, and fur babies. Tired to the core, cold noses, cold toes, but warm full hearts.

And always.... a bitter sweet breath before winter.

First all ladies shoot for BOC. And for some of these ladies their first time with a shot gun, first hunt, first time in a blind. Happy to say they all went home with a bird!

Boy, was I mad! He ditched me on our walk, then found me on the trail with a live fish in his mouth and took off again. When I followed him, I heard vigorous splashing, so I got the camera out. This is what I saw!
